Cela's Creative Learning Academy is a Christian-based, Early Achievers participant in Medical Lake, WA serving ages 4 months through 12 years.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Program Director, the Custodian/Maintenance is responsible for maintenance and janitorial aspects of facility.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION
- Assists the kitchen staff in keeping the kitchen clean and tidy by taking out trash and recycling, daily sweeping and mopping and any other duties needed.
- Ensures the classrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are fully stocked with supplies.
- Maintains cleanliness of the facility with regular dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and other jobs as needed.
- Assists in maintaining landscaping with regular mowing, weed whacking, weeding the grounds, concrete washing and litter pick up.
- Completes and submits all paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Exhibits attendance, punctuality, self-time management and communication on a regular basis with the Program Director
- Ensures the facility is deep cleaned on a daily basis, lifting and moving equipment, taking out trash and closing inventory.
- Reports concerns and incidents to Program Director
- Follows all procedures and regulations according to the Health Department, state and federal guidelines and laws of the State of Washington
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be 18 years or older.

- Bloodborne Pathogens
- Back ground check to include finger prints if needed
- Provide immunization record including COVID-19
- Proof of negative TB test
- First Aid and CPR
