FULL-TIME position. Seeking an EXPERIENCED polisher for a high-end jewelry manufacturing firm. Salary dependent on experience and skill level.
Responsibilities:
QUALITY—use of loupe and knowledge of quality control basics
- Polishing
- Cleaning
- Knowledge of metals - Gold (Yellow, Rose, White, White-Rhodium), Silver, Platinum, etc.
Tool/Supply Knowledge and Maintenance
- Polishing Compounds
- Buffs
- Felt Wheels
- Emery Paper
Equipment Knowledge and Maintenance
- Polishing Machines
- Attachments
Productivity
- Lead-times
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 2-5 years of experience working in a high-end environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks;
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment;
- Good communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
