CEIS | Government is seeking an experienced Project Estimating Specialist to support high-impact work at the Savannah River Site (SRS) through Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS). This full-time, onsite role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate, efficient, and risk-aware project cost development in support of DOE mission priorities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform tactical-level project cost estimating in support of engineering, construction, and operational programs.
- Develop and review estimates based on scope definitions, project specifications, and field conditions.
- Interface with engineers and technical personnel to produce comprehensive conceptual estimates.
- Evaluate work conditions and apply estimating methodologies that reflect labor, materials, equipment, and environmental complexity.
- Provide input to planning and scheduling teams on cost-related assumptions and labor impacts.
- Review estimates for completeness and alignment with project and DOE requirements.
- Support cost control and change management processes.
- Maintain proficiency in cost and estimating software tools and contribute to process improvements.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, or proposal development.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated expertise in conceptual estimating and cost planning.
- Proficient in automated cost management and estimating systems, with strong PC skills.
- Proven knowledge of project management principles and tactical cost/schedule control.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Educational equivalency options:
- Master's degree 2 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree 5 years of experience
- Associate degree 8 years of experience
- High school diploma 12 years of experience
- Experience working in DOE environments, especially with estimating for nuclear or high-risk infrastructure.
- Active or recently held DOE Q or L clearance (within the past 2 years).
- Familiarity with field construction estimating, labor productivity factors, and startup cost modeling.
