CEIS is looking for an Industrial Hygiene and Safety (IHS) Technician to assist in implementing programs, policies, and procedures aimed at identifying, evaluating, and controlling potential health and safety hazards. This role provides essential industrial hygiene and safety support as part of a collaborative team. Work will be on-site full-time at Savannah River Nuclear Site.

Responsibilities
- Conduct basic industrial hygiene and safety monitoring, including air sampling, noise surveys, and equipment calibration.
- Assist in the recognition and evaluation of potential health and safety hazards.
- Support the implementation of established safety programs and procedures.
- Maintain and organize safety records, equipment, and sampling data.
- Perform workplace inspections and assist in hazard identification.
- Provide support for hazard communication and personal protective equipment (PPE) programs.
- Associates degree or relevant coursework in health and safety or a related field; Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- 13 years of experience in industrial hygiene, safety, or a related area.
- Familiarity with industrial hygiene monitoring techniques and equipment, such as noise dosimeters and air sampling pumps.
- Ability to follow established protocols and perform accurate data collection and reporting.
- Basic understanding of DOE safety requirements and work planning processes is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
