Overview: The Trade Support Analyst supports Global Markets PCM Trading desks by monitoring trading risk and positions, executing and validating trades, managing post-trade processes, and driving operational and process improvements. This role acts as a key liaison between Trading, Sales, Risk, IT, and Middle/Back Office teams to ensure accurate risk representation, regulatory compliance, and high-quality client service.ResponsibilitiesRisk, Position Monitoring & Trade ExecutionMonitor trading positions and risks throughout the day to ensure accuracy.Coordinate trade lifecycle events with Sales and Trading desks to ensure proper risk reflection.Contribute to daily P&L estimates, produce risk explanations, and investigate discrepancies with official P&L.Analytical & Operational SupportBook, process, and validate trades in Front Office systems immediately following execution.Ensure regulatory obligations are met (including Dodd-Frank, EMIR, FINRA).Resolve internal queries from Trading desks and partner functions including IT, Risk, Legal, and Operations.Support post-trade processes including corporate actions, succession events, and option expiries.Maintain Front Office operational documentation.Follow up with internal teams to ensure confirmations, clearing, settlement, and risk reporting are completed.Monitor and escalate outstanding post-trade issues until resolved.Process & Client Service ImprovementsRecommend enhancements to existing Front Office and desk support processes.Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve recurring issues.Report system issues and propose IT enhancements to improve scalability and resiliency.QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.Minimum of two years of experience in a Front or Middle Office Trade Support role within Global Markets.Skills & CompetenciesStrong expertise in trade booking, validation, lifecycle events, settlements, and confirmations for PCM products including Corporate Bonds, CDS, Index, and Structured Trades.Knowledge of US PCM Markets and related market infrastructure.Working understanding of regulatory requirements (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, FINRA, FATCA).Proficiency in Excel and VBA for process automation.Understanding of front-to-back system architecture, pricing, and risk platforms.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing communication.Ability to perform under pressure with strong attention to detail.Demonstrated collaborative and commercial mindset.LicensingFINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required.About the ClientThe client is a global financial services organization supporting institutional clients through trading, financing, and market infrastructure solutions.
