Title: Customer Support & Scheduling Coordinator
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
Pay: $ 25/hour optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
This role involves providing customer support and scheduling assistance within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will serve as a central point of contact for customer inquiries, coordinate scheduling activities, and support administrative operations. Key Responsibilities- Serve as central point of contact for all incoming customer calls/emails
- Address customer questions/concerns as much as possible
- Delegate to appropriate individual/group if unable to address
- Log customer calls and report out weekly
- Assist schedulers with proactive customer contacts throughout the job scheduling process
- Provide clear guidance for customers on pre-job requirements (ex. inspection due dates, physical work to be complete before work is executed, setting up new meter account, etc.)
- Schedule customer appointments, issue reminders/confirmations
- Maintain log of all communications to report out weekly
- Provide other scheduler assistance as needed
- Assist in creating work packets
- Assist in processing bundled job cards
- Remove job holds once verified
- Create IVR appointments
- Assist in work order close out
- Schedule temporary disconnects
- Investigate property damage claims and schedule work if PPL liability is determined
- Customer service skills with the ability to address inquiries and concerns effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience in scheduling, dispatch, or administrative coordination
- Ability to log and report communications accurately
- Proactive approach to customer contact and scheduling support
- Ability to assist with administrative tasks such as creating work packets and processing job cards
- Attention to detail in verifying job holds and scheduling appointments
- Ability to investigate property damage claims and coordinate related work
- Familiarity with IVR systems and work order processes
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with three days per week in the office
- Experience in customer support within utility or service industries
- Knowledge of pre-job requirements and scheduling procedures
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with property damage investigations and scheduling
