Key Responsibilities
- Apply engineering theories, principles, and concepts to support design and project execution.
- Perform structural design and analysis of steel and concrete components (e.g., pipe supports, junction boxes, foundations).
- Conduct seismic analysis and design for mounting components and equipment.
- Interpret and apply industrial codes and standards (ACI, ASCE, ASME).
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams (mechanical, electrical, regulatory) to develop integrated solutions.
- Prepare and review technical documentation to ensure compliance with nuclear safety standards.
- Support field implementation teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently and contribute to project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant engineering experience
- Top Technical Skills:
- Structural design of steel and concrete components
- Familiarity with ACI, ASCE, ASME codes
- Seismic analysis and design experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Nuclear Standard Design Process or Design Change qualification
- Prior experience as a Responsible Engineer at a nuclear facility
- Proficiency with engineering software such as Mathcad, GTStrudl, STADD, ANSyS
- Finite Element Modeling experience
