A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERN
In this internship with our civil engineering and landscape architecture company, you have the unique opportunity to gain real-world skills and knowledge while working side-by-side with industry experts. You work hands-on with real projects for real clients and get a real taste of what everyday day life in the industry is like. In collaboration with personnel from various departments, you tackle challenging projects head-on and provide design support for our project managers.
Using AutoCAD software, you create detailed designs and drawings such as redlines, concept plans, site layouts, and minor gradings for our civil and landscape projects. When assigned, you also perform data entry and various other tasks depending on your abilities and experience. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CIVIL ENGINEERING INTERN
- Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, landscape architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation experience would be strongly preferred. Do you have exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills? Can you successfully work both independently and alongside a team? Are you highly detail-oriented? Do you have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills? Are you eager to learn and motivated to do a great job? If yes, you might just be perfect for this summer internship!
WORK SCHEDULE
