The Role:
As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work alongside seasoned PMs to deliver complex MEP projects — managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships from kickoff through commissioning. You'll learn the ESPC delivery model end-to-end, sharpen your technical chops on real systems, and take on more ownership as you grow.
What you'll do:
- Drive projects to completion on budget, on schedule, and on spec
- Oversee implementation of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) in the field
- Manage subcontractors, review contracts, and track project financials
- Lead design coordination — schedules, RFIs, review meetings, action items
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Enforce safety, code compliance, and quality standards on every site
- Review M&V plans, commissioning protocols, and O&M handoffs
- Support business development during project pursuit and delivery
Basic Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in construction project management or project engineering
- Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, construction management, or related field (relevant technical experience considered in lieu)
- Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore, or similar)
- Working knowledge of MEP, HVAC, solar, BAS, or other building systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A self-starter with sharp problem-solving instincts and great attention to detail
- implementations often run after hours, ability to accommodate flexible shift work
- OSHA-30 certification a plus

Physical requirements
The role requires moving safely around active construction sites, ascending/descending ladders and stairs, operating field tools, and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs. PPE and required safety training are provided.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
