The Early Childhood Educator is responsible for a group of Infant/Toddlers or Preschool age children providing high quality of care; engaging the students in age-appropriate activities that are both educational and fun, as well as instructing the children on social & emotional development. The provider is responsible for interacting with the parents and other educators at the preschool & child care center to ensure all students have the tools they need to be successful. The qualified professional should be able to effectively communicate essential information to parents and other teachers regarding students' academic and social progress.
Responsibilities:
- Teach the children a wide variety of subjects.
- Be a role model to the children.
- Provide and maintain an environment where children can feel safe and develop trust in their teachers.
- Work closely with parents to foster a healthy self-esteem in their children.
- Teach the children manners, good speech habits, and social skills.
- Conduct assessments effectively and document actions as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
