Client is looking to hire a contract scientist ASAP to run PCR assays. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in PCR and basic molecular biology techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Perform PCR assays following established protocols.
- Prepare samples and reagents.
- Design PCR templates for amplification and extraction.
- Analyze and document results accurately.
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure quality control.
- Ph.D., M.S., or B.S. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- 3 years of industry experience working with PCR.
- Hands-on experience with PCR techniques.
- Familiarity with Integra Assist Plus and Quantstudio 5.
- Ability to follow protocols and troubleshoot experiments.
- Experience with qPCR.
- Previous work in a diagnostic or R&D lab.
