The Cheltenham School District announces the following positions available for the Cheltnham School District, Freshman Summer Academy (2026):
- Position Title: Teacher (Summer 2026) - Secondary
- Location: Cedarbrook Middle School
- Dates: Monday, July 6, 2026 to Thursday, July 31, 2026
- Teacher Schedule: Monday - Thursday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Overview:
The Freshman Summer Academy seeks to equip rising freshmen with the skills that they will need to be successful, particularly in the areas of mathematics, English, and general academic success in high school.
Position(s): Positions are anticipated for each content area listed above and will involve a combination of in-person and remote instruction during the summer session. Final staffing levels will be determined by student enrollment numbers.
Requirements: Valid Pennsylvania Secondary certification in the appropriate content area is required. Preferred certification areas include:
- Technology Education
- Mathematics
- Special Education
- English
*Primary consideration will be given to Cheltenham School District teaching staff.
