Job Summary:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for verifying shipping and receiving of all production goods and for maintaining complete records for inventory and accounting purposes. Will assist in coordinating and scheduling aspects of production with customers, supplies and transportation.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assign payables to proper cost centers and expense accounts
- Prepare daily billings, shipping manifests, purchase requisitions and other production paperwork
- Coordinate shipment and receipt of production materials
- Input all production information into computer and verify information
- Prepare and finalize production records and reports, including inventory reports
- Maintain filing system for production correspondence and records
- Maintain workshop supplies and current cost records
- Maintain equipment and vehicle maintenance files
- Participate in on-going self-development through meeting and training opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Work Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Forklift driving experience required.
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to effectively communicate and deal with co-workers and the public
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Displays good judgment, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
Position requires valid driver’s license, current vehicle insurance and acceptable driving record. Background check and physical required.
