Duties
- Assist with age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Supervise children during play, snacks, and daily routines
- Help maintain clean, organized, and welcoming classroom spaces
- Communicate positively and professionally with parents about their child’s day
- Observe children and communicate any concerns to the appropriate staff
- Ensure classroom is ready for the lead teachers next morning
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field preferred
- Understanding of early childhood development principles
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain upon hire
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize responsibilities
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle behavior management effectively
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to work flexible hours in the afternoons
- 16 years of age or older
- Genuine passion for working with children
