Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, following all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Load, unload, and organize deliveries efficiently using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Navigate assigned routes accurately and promptly to ensure timely deliveries across diverse locations.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns courteously.
• Load and secure packages carefully to prevent damage during transit; perform heavy lifting as needed during loading and unloading processes.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports to ensure compliance and safety standards.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management or moving supplies when required to support overall operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with familiarity in route driving and customer service roles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks or vehicles with manual transmission is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading/unloading packages safely.
• Experience with warehouse equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
• Strong organizational skills for load & unload procedures, route planning, and maintaining accurate records.
• Excellent communication skills to provide friendly service and coordinate effectively with team members.
