Architectural Designer

Cedar Street Creative is a full-service design and development firm helping ambitious brands scale their physical spaces. We work across multi-unit food and beverage, hospitality, and office delivering the full stack from concept to construction.
We are growing our design team and need a strong generalist who can move fast across the early stages of a project. Test fits, concept development, schematic design, client presentation visuals this is the work. You will work closely with our Sr. Design Manager on program development, and support our DM team on site specific deliverables.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Test fits and site feasibility studies translating lease plans and constraints into viable design concepts quickly and accurately
- Concept development translating brand direction into spatial ideas, material palettes, and early schematic options
- Presentation-ready visuals producing drawings, diagrams, and materials that communicate clearly to clients
- Prototype support assisting the Sr. Design Manager in building and refining the standard packages that anchor our modular delivery model
- Pitch and proposal support helping develop new client presentations and capability materials
- Per-location overflow jumping into active projects to support the DM team during high-volume periods
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3–5 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or a closely related field
- Strong test fit instincts: you can read a plan, understand a program, and turn around a viable layout quickly
- Revit proficiency: you are comfortable producing and working within Revit-based workflows
- Generalist range: you can move between test fits, concept work, and presentation deliverables without needing to reset
- Speed and reliability: you hit deadlines, ask when you are unclear, and do not let things sit
- Good eye: you have taste, and it shows in your work
- Collaborative: you work well within a team structure and take direction clearly
BONUS POINTS
- Experience in multi-unit, rollout, or prototype-driven environments
- Hospitality, F&B, or retail portfolio experience
- Comfortable with Enscape
- Presentation design sensibility - not just technically accurate, but visually communicative
