Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures
- Take digital radiographs as needed
- Perform comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting, including periodontal charting for all new patients
- Assess periodontal health and communicate clinical findings to the doctor
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health
- Assist in identifying treatment needs and discussing recommended care with patients
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Team-oriented with a commitment to exceptional patient care
- Experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
