About the Job
Cedar See Vision Center is an independent optometry practice seeking a reliable, patient-focused Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This is a hands-on, patient-facing role with opportunities to cross-train in optometric tech duties and the optical.
Responsibilities
- Check in and check out patients
- Collect copays and process payments
- Answer incoming calls only as needed
- Assist with pre-testing and optometric tech support
- Cross-train in optical — frame styling, dispensing, and adjustments
- Other duties as assigned to support daily practice operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of eye care experience (required)
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
Monday, Wednesday: 10am–6pm Tuesday: 12pm–7pm Thursday: 9am–4pm Rotating Fridays and Saturdays: 9am–1pm (once monthly)
Pay: Based on experience
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
