About the Commissions Accounting Assistant Role
As part of our Finance – Commissions team, the Commissions Accounting Assistant plays a key role in the analysis and reporting of agent commission disbursements. This position involves working directly with our commission accounting system to ensure data is posted, reconciled, and reported accurately. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, solid math and Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Commissions Accounting Assistant
- Post commission data accurately and on time
- Input, maintain, and document data across multiple databases
- Balance and correct errors in daily, weekly, and monthly interfaces
- Prepare reconciliations and analyze accounting issues as needed
- Resolve internal and external commission-related requests, escalating unresolved items to the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding commission processing
- Perform general clerical tasks such as scanning, filing, copying, and running reports
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance
What We’re Looking For in a Commissions Accounting Assistant
- Accounting experience or education strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; comfortable using calculators and other office tools
- Strong math and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; customer service mindset
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Authorized to work in the United States
