What you’ll do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance
- Maintain food safety practices in all aspects of food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Perform cleaning duties to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Support catering events by preparing meals and setting up service areas
- Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation
- Provide exceptional support to the front-of-house staff during peak service times
- Track inventory accurately
- Prepare order needs
Basic qualifications
- Food Handlers Certification
- Familiarity with food service operations in a restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with ordering and inventory management
- Previous experience in meal preparation and food handling
