DESCRIPTION
Cedar Run Construction/Lumber Connect is small but innovative & growing construction company specializing in commercial wall panel construction. We operate in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility to ensure the highest quality and precision in our work. Our employees have a strong work ethic and believe in integrity in everything we do.
Our current work schedule is 5:45 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. We are seeking a carpenter for our shop located in Lititz. Must have reliable, daily transportation. Applicants are subject to acceptable criminal background checks.
We prefer construction experience but are willing to train the right individual. Must be dependable, have a “can-do” attitude, and interact and communicate effectively with others.
Job Responsibilities
· Fabricate and assemble walls according to project specifications and blueprints.
· Operate a variety of machinery including saws, pneumatic nailers and hand tools.
· Ensure the quality and accuracy of finished products.
· Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
· Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
· Assist with end of day clean-up.
Qualifications:
· Must be 18 years old.
· Knowledge of basic woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Physical stamina and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
· Ability to read dimensions
