Responsibilities
- Groom dogs and other companion animals, including bathing, brushing, drying, haircuts, nail trims, ear cleaning, and de-shedding treatments.
- Perform breed-standard cuts and customized grooming styles.
- Evaluate pets' coat and skin condition and communicate any concerns to pet owners.
- Ensure pets are handled safely and comfortably throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized grooming area.
- Build positive relationships with clients through excellent customer service and communication.
- Recommend grooming schedules and products based on each pet's needs.
Qualifications
- Professional pet grooming experience required (2 years preferred).
- Knowledge of breed standards and grooming techniques.
- Ability to groom dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Dependable, motivated, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
