What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Clinician FT (Overnight Shift) position at Cedar Ridge Hospital?
Shift: 7pm-7:30am Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
The Admissions Clinician provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
- Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population required preferably in an inpatient setting
- Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work field required
- BSN or licensure/license eligible for LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age

Qualifications:
- Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population required preferably in an inpatient setting
- Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work field required

- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Successfully complete a drug test
- Successfully pass national background check
- Strong Computer skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior
