Cedar Ridge Dairy is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager who wants more than just another HR job.
We're looking for someone who enjoys creating systems, solving problems, improving processes, and building an HR department that supports a growing agricultural business. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll own every aspect of Human Resources while working directly with company leadership to improve our people, processes, and culture.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both strategic leadership and day-to-day execution. As our HR department grows, you'll help shape its future and eventually build and lead your own HR team.

What You'll Do
Human Resources Operations
· Employee onboarding and orientation
· Personnel file management
· Employment documentation
· HR records administration
· Policy administration
· HR compliance
· Employee communications
· Recruiting & Hiring
· Coordinate recruiting efforts
· Screen applicants
· Schedule and participate in interviews
· Conduct reference checks
· Prepare employment offers
· Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation
Payroll Administration
· Oversee the complete payroll process
· Review employee timecards
· Verify payroll accuracy
· Process payroll changes
· Bonuses and shift differentials
· Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time
· Improve payroll systems and internal controls
Employee Relations
· Coach supervisors
· Resolve employee concerns
· Conduct workplace investigations
· Administer disciplinary processes
· Assist with employee development and retention
Compliance & Risk Management
· Ensure compliance with employment laws
· Maintain OSHA and HR documentation
· Coordinate workers' compensation claims
· Administer company drug testing program
· Conduct HR audits
Leadership
· Build efficient HR systems
· Develop and improve SOPs
· Create meaningful HR reporting
· Recommend process improvements
· Partner with leadership to support organizational growth

Qualifications
· 5 years of Human Resources experience preferred
· Experience processing or overseeing payroll
· Knowledge of federal and Idaho employment laws
· Experience with employee relations and investigations
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Experience in agriculture, manufacturing, construction, or similar operational industries preferred
