What are the responsibilities and job description for the Webmaster - Cleveland position at Cedar Rapids Community School District?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage your respective school’s website in conjunction with the Technology and Community Relations departments. Maintain a website architecture that is comprehensive, user friendly and effective for your school's targeted audiences and in alignment with the approved sitemap. Work with Technology and Community Relations to adhere to CRCSD brand standards and site policy standards for web content and usage. Participate in newly-implemented Content Management System (CMS) training. The expectation is that you will conduct daily/weekly content updates and periodic photo updates to your respective site.
HOURS:
Elementary School: 40
To include: upfront CMS training provided by Communications and IT departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with basic web applications
Good written communication skills
Customer oriented attitude and ability to work in a team environment
Project management skills
COMPENSATION:
$25/hour; will need to confirm with the building principal on the remaining number of hours for this school year.
