Nuclear Med Technologist - ARRT or CNMT

Cedar Park Med is hiring an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform a variety of routine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a clinical environment. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented, technically skilled professional who can work independently while supporting a collaborative healthcare team.

Position Overview
Under general supervision, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs standard imaging procedures using radioactive materials to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This role also involves maintaining accurate records, following radiation safety protocols, and providing guidance or training to other staff members as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current New York State Nuclear Medicine Technologist license/registration
• ARRT (N) or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine, or board-eligible
• Current CPR certification
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and radiation safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with Siemens EVOSPECT and Phillips Forte cameras
• Working knowledge of NMIS, EPIC, and Synapse PACS systems

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures in accordance with physician orders and established safety protocols
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including Siemens EVOSPECT and Phillips Forte cameras
• Utilize NMIS in the hot lab for data entry and quality control
• Access and document patient information in EPIC and Synapse PACS
• Maintain detailed records of imaging results, procedures, and radiation doses
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Support quality assurance and radiation safety procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff as assigned
