Cedar Park Med is seeking reliable Housekeeping Services Associates for full-time opportunities at healthcare facilities in Augusta, GA and Savannah, GA.
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, every other weekend, holidays as scheduled
Position Overview
The Housekeeping Services Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This includes cleaning resident/patient rooms, common areas, and support spaces, as well as handling soiled linens and biomedical waste in accordance with safety and infection-control standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Removes soiled linen from beds and makes beds daily

Damp wipes beds weekly with hospital-approved germicide

Transports biomedical waste to holding areas

Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and shower room areas

Sweeps and mops entrances, hallways, bedrooms, dayrooms, restrooms, lounges, offices, and meeting rooms as directed

Cleans and dusts floors and walls; polishes fixtures and mirrors

Restocks soap, paper, and other dispensers as needed

Picks up litter and empties trash receptacles regularly

Informs housekeeping management of all damaged pillows, mattresses, or linens that are detected

Completes daily written task completion documents and submits them to housekeeping leadership, including notes on detected damaged furnishings and bedding
Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of training and experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform housekeeping duties

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for approximately 80% of the workday

Ability and willingness to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled

Ability to work the full shift from 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break as scheduled by the supervisor

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow written and verbal instructions
