What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping/Janitor position at Cedar Mountain Post Acute?
Cedar Mountain Post Acute is now hiring a housekeeper/Janitor We are a skilled nursing and rehab facility in Yucaipa. We pride ourselves in having a safe work environment and giving our staff opportunities to grow with our company.
SHIFT TIME: We run a 4/2 rotation*
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Disinfect high-touch areas and follow infection control protocols.
- Replenish supplies (soap, toilet paper, etc.).
- Report maintenance issues.
- Follow cleaning schedules.
Janitorial Duties:
- Clean common areas and restrooms.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff floors.
- Empty trash and handle waste disposal.
- Perform minor repairs and report larger issues.
For All Roles:
- Follow infection control protocols.
- Use PPE and follow safety regulations.
- Report unusual resident behavior.
*Must speak/read Basic English*
