Front Desk Receptionist

Cedar Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is searching for a Part Time Evening Front Desk Receptionist to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team.

We have Weekly Pay, and generous PTO and Health Benefits!

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least six (6) months experience in a clerical position
• Ability to work weekends and as needed
• Skilled multitasking abilities
• Must have knowledge of office machines (i.e. switch board, postage machine, copy machine, computer, fax machine).
• Must have basic computer knowledge and skills.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, sales representative, home office and the general public.
• Demonstrate patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude towards the older population.
  
  
  

Job Summary For Front Desk Receptionist:

• Operate paging/telephone system as required - answer telephone, determine nature of call and direct to appropriate individual department.
• Receive inquires and release information in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Maintain a current file listing of residents by name and room number.
• Give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives etc...
• Report suspicious activity/persons to Administrator immediately.
• Ensure guest/visitors abide by existing rules and refuse admission to persons as directed
• Meet and greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Sort and distribute mail as directed.
• Receive and distribute packages received from Fed-Ex. UPS etc…
• Assist any department with typing, mailings, filing, photocopying, faxing or any other office work as directed by Administrator
• Maintains the confidentiality and privacy of all resident care information.
