Job Overview
We are seeking a Guest Services Coordinator/Host to join our team with a start date of April 20th. Cedar Lake Ministries is a Christian Youth Camp & Retreat Center with a mission to provide an environment for evangelism and spiritual growth.
Qualifications

- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Be willing to learn A/V set up
- Comfortable locking up buildings at 11pm on Friday and Saturday evenings
- Ability to remain calm and friendly when confronted with upset visitors
Essential Duties (Duties will include, but are not limited to the following):
- Manage new inquiries
- Learn software to process proposals and contracts
- Lead tours
- Communicate effectively via Phone calls and emails
- Learn and Facilitate Outdoor Activities including Tomahawks, Archery, Zip Line, Giant Swing, Rock Wall Tower, and Team Building Activities.
- Give Orientation on kayaks and canoes, Open and Lock Cabinet for paddles and life jackets
- Utilizing available tools to manage guest group requests and needs
- Set up Meeting Rooms for Guests by moving furniture
- Set up A/V Equipment for guest groups
- Hang Signs in Lodging and Meeting Spaces
- Pulling keys for guest rooms
- Adjusting thermostats before guests arrive and after they leave the grounds
- Check In -Greet Guests, walk leader through folder (camp rules and procedures), distribute keys, walk them to their lodging and/or meeting space
- Open and Lock up buildings, setting alarms
- On-Call overnight for guest emergency calls when hosting
- Host on a rotating schedule
- Greet each guest at every meal and help bus tables and bring dishes to kitchen
- Respond promptly to calls/texts on the Google Voice Host Phone Line
- Pick up litter, replace paper towels, toilet paper, and soap, unclog/plunge toilets
- Host is expected to work weekends and holidays as needed
Working Conditions: Work sometimes involves time outside in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions.
Walking/Standing and lifting/pulling is required.
