What are the responsibilities and job description for the Campground Office Team position at Cedar Lake Campground?
Our Front Office team works under the leadership of Miss Deb, Resort Operations Manager, alongside our Front Office Manager.
Cedar Lake Campground is looking for two friendly, organized, and dependable individuals to join our Front Office team for the upcoming camping season!If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and being part of a fun, family-friendly campground environment — we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist campers
- Make and manage reservations
- Operate POS systems
- Answer phones, texts, voicemails, and emails
- Stock shelves and assist with store duties
- Light cleaning duties
- Firewood counts
- Attend monthly meetings
- Follow all safety protocols
- Assist with other office-related duties as needed What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required
- Strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers and technology
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook (Teams a plus!)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented * Camping or campground experience is a bonus (not required) Important
Hiring Timeline:
- Interviews: Last week of January
- Hiring decisions: By February 1 (all candidates will be notified)
- Training begins: February 5
- February training is the only off-season work expected, unless there is a winter emergency
- This is a seasonal position running approximately April 1 – November 7
