What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Preschool Teacher position at Cedar Hills Early Childhood Center?
Job Duties/Requirements:
- Create and implement daily lesson plans.
- Guide children to develop their educational capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum.
- Understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.
- Have demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
- Establish and maintain positive communication with parents, children, and other staff members.
- Be knowledgeable about state licensing requirements and understand that we will be in compliance at all times.
- Observing each child helps them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
- Ensure that the classroom remains safe and conducive to learning at all times.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate would have at least six months of experience in a licensed facility.
- Willing to comply with a background check.
- Staff will also be required to obtain a certification in pediatric first aid and CPR.
- Proficient interpersonal skills.
- Proficient classroom management skills.

Experience:
- Preschool : 1 year (Preferred).
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred).
