Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and medical staff to ensure effective outcomes
Provide education to families and staff on therapy techniques and communication strategies
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all guidelines
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid state licensure as an SLP
CCC-SLP preferred but not required
Prior experience in long-term care is a plus
Strong communication and organizational skills
Passion for working with the geriatric population
