What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Pediatric Medical Assistant position at Cedar Hill Pediatrics?
Cedar Hill Pediatrics is an independent pediatric practice caring for children for 25 plus years. Our care team provides patient and family centered care that is focused on shared decision making and takes into account each patient's unique health status, value system, and cultural backround. The position provides and supports quality patient care through a variety of day to day functions. We are looking for a certified medical assistant available to work 4/5 days a week 9:30am - 6pm. Rotating Saturday mornings 8:30am - 12pm.
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive intake including height, weight, and vital
- Vision Screenings
- Delivering injections including vaccines
- Cleaning and stocking rooms
- Documentation in EMR
- Perform testing ex: Covid, RSV, Strep, Flu, UA, Cholesterol, Lead
- Other clinic skills including: Nebulizer treatments, spirometry
Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of a Certified Medical Assistant Program
- Experience in Pediatrics
- Epic

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
