Staff Development Coordinator – Cedar Hill Continuing Care Community Windsor, VT
Cedar Hill Continuing Care Community in Windsor, VT is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as the Staff Development Coordinator for our skilled nursing facility.
In this role, you'll lead staff education initiatives — designing and delivering training, tracking compliance, and partnering with department heads to ensure all team members meet their educational requirements. You'll play a key role in keeping our managers informed and our standards high.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and facilitate staff education programs across all departments
- Track training compliance and keep department managers informed of any gaps
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and address ongoing education needs
- Participate in the Nurse On-Call rotation
What We're Looking For
- Active RN license (required)
- Experience in a long-term care setting (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear, effective communication skills
- Prior experience in staff education or development (preferred)
Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time, salaried position (40 hours/week). General hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. Flexibility to work alternate shifts and weekends is required to meet the training needs of all staff. The role includes participation in the Nurse On-Call rotation.
This is an on-site position in Windsor, VT.
