Floor Technician
Cedar Haven | Lebanon, PA
Cedar Haven is seeking a Floor Technician to join our skilled nursing facility in Lebanon, PA. This position plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
The Floor Technician performs a variety of floor care, cleaning, and organizational duties throughout the facility while following proper sanitation and safety procedures.
Shift
Full-Time
Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Responsibilities
Follow established Floor Technician service procedures and cleaning protocols
Perform various floor care processes, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining hard surface floors
Perform carpet care and cleaning as needed throughout the facility
Maintain proper use and care of floor cleaning equipment and supplies
Assist with laundry tasks by placing soiled facility or resident linens into washing machines when needed
Fold or hang resident personal linens and distribute them to resident rooms
Hang clothing in closets and place clothing neatly in drawers
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following safety and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
Previous experience as a floor technician, cleaner, or in light maintenance preferred
Familiarity with cleaning materials, equipment, and floor care machines
Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
