Responsibilities
- Assist with tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care activities under supervision
- Operate bucket trucks, skid steers, chippers, and chainsaws during tree work operations
- Support rigging operations by setting up ropes and pulleys for safe removal or pruning of trees
- Help with landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general site cleanup
- Maintain equipment such as bucket trucks and hand tools in good working order through routine inspections
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations to ensure a secure work environment
- Basic knowledge of rigging techniques for safely lowering tree limbs or debris
- Ability to operate bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment (training provided if needed)
- Strong understanding of tree care practices including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
- Ability to back and pull 16ft trailers
- Familiarity with landscaping tasks such as lawn care and landscape maintenance
- Growing experience in horticulture or related fields is highly desirable
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Hard work ethic required
- CDL is a plus
- Climbers must be comfortable up to 100ft. New climbing gear provided.
- Clean driving record required
