Cedar Grove Composting is looking for a Customer Service Representative to be based out of our Woodinville location and to provide coverage at our Bellevue location as needed. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with great self-direction to learn a new industry and grow in a well-established, family-owned company. As the Customer Service Representative, you will work in a variety of areas including answering phones, performing cashiering duties at the scale house, as well as in person customer service assisting with sales. This position requires the operation of a computer terminal to input customer data and assure proper charges to customers; receive and count money, make change and prepare related reports, as well as assisting customers in purchasing products. This is a full-time position that includes required overtime work and possible weekend work. The regularly scheduled shift is Monday thru Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and count money, make change and prepare related reports; balance the till daily; assure charged transactions are signed according to established procedures
- Determine appropriate charges for vehicle/customer entering facilities
- Enter and process sales orders accurately
- Operate a computer terminal to input daily reports and record keeping
- Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate personnel
- Assist customers on product selection, purchasing, and order processing
- Responsible for keeping office area clean
- Perform related duties as assigned
