Vertical Greenwalls from Recycled Plastics
Our greenwalls & vertical planting structures are all made from recycled/recuperated materials manufactured locally by Cedar Environmental. It's built around the "Ecoboard" a technology we developed in Lebanon to deal with the recycling of plastic bags and all other plastic materials not recycled by mainstream recycling industries.

- Ecoboard panels are waterproof, Rust proof, super resistant to the natural elements and as they are made of 80% Low Density Polyethylene they have a shelf life of 500 years
- The Green walls are mounted on a plastic beams chassis allowing them to be fully waterproof & rust proof and makes them indefinitely durable.
- Our green walls take anywhere from 12 to 18 months to fully cover the vertical surface as we use small seedlings to fit in the tiny openings in the wall structure. Unlike classical green walls which start fully green and regress, ours use small evergreen plants that grow to cover the surface and have minimal maintenance requirements. - Once installed, the system will require irrigation 2 times a week by simply switching on a pump or just opening a faucet for a determined period of time which we will determine once the system is mounted. The water usage for such an area is minimal as drip irrigation is the only method used.
- The planting media used consists of 33% compost from locally fermented organic waste, 33% mulch from locally recuperated and shredded green waste and 33% red soil. Our green walls do NOT use pots or compartments they are a contiguous, organic planting space. Of course we do not use chemical fertilizers and resort to spraying poisons on our plants.
- Our wall installation includes: chassis/Wall Structure/Planting Media/Drip Irrigation system - offer DOES NOT include plants these are extras based on the number of plants required per square meter and the variety to be used. We can offer you an evergreen plant called Aptenia for free and you can use it to plant the whole wall. If you would like us to deliver a fully planted wall with various evergreens it can be done and discussed on a case by case basis.
