What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Delegating Nurse position at CEDAR CREEK MEMORY CARE HOMES?
Part-Time (4-8 hours) Delegating Nurse for two 8 bed memory care homes (Silver Spring & Bethesda area)
Responsibilities include:
Weekly visit to 2 small assisted living homes for the following -
Evaluate resident health or psychosocial issues, instructing staff on any delegated nursing functions, giving guidance to follow up and/or preventative care, and problem solving health and behavioral issues. Complete 45 day review of residents, and state mandated nursing assessment for new admissions and resident change in status, including return from hospitalization. Review of health assessment every 6 months and participation in Quality Assurance Meeting every 6 months. Competency Reviews for all employees and in-services as needed. Other DRN duties as assigned and required by the state. Available to serve as "Back-Up Delegating RN" at 2 other small homes in Montgomery County as needed.
