We are looking for an experienced Manager/Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, and be able to prepare a variety of espresso-based drinks quickly and accurately. The successful candidate will also be able to take orders, maintain a clean work area, and interact with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner. If you have a love for coffee and the ability to take on the responsibility to create an enjoyable experience for customers and fellow employees, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages.
- Greet customers in a friendly manner.
- Take orders and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and handling.
- Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Direct experience working in small business or a hospitality related service
- High-level interpersonal skills - able to communicate with customers and staff to provide quality service and solve problems
- Skills in the use of point of sale (POS) equipment and café equipment
- An understanding of quality management and performance improvement
- Must work well as a team member
- Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external communications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $25.50 per hour
