Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to ensure a spotless environment.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and other techniques to keep surfaces looking their best.
• Manage outdoor work tasks when necessary, including patio or porch cleaning and outdoor surface maintenance.
• Use proper manual handling techniques for heavy lifting of furniture or large items safely and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences or special requests while providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles, with knowledge of janitorial or custodial procedures preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, carpet extractors, and other janitorial tools.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning detergents.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Experience working outdoors or in varied environments is a plus.
• Excellent client communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction and address specific needs promptly.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
