Executive Housekeeper

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team at the La Quinta Logan in delivering exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards across our hospitality facility. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of cleaning operations, staff supervision, and sanitation management to ensure a pristine environment that exceeds guest expectations. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation procedures across all areas of the facility
• Lead, motivate, and manage housekeeping staff to ensure high performance, adherence to safety regulations, and consistent quality standards
• Develop and implement cleaning protocols aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, and hospitality environments
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, sanitation compliance, and safety procedures; address deficiencies promptly
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize operational efficiency
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, customer service excellence, and sanitation management
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or guest requests ensuring seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work within hospitality or commercial settings with a strong background in hotel or hospitality management
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills; previous leadership roles in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques including industrial cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry operations
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment use, and workplace safety standards
• Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with other departments
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to address guest needs professionally and efficiently
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
