Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment for children across various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, and supporting their developmental needs through engaging lessons and personalized instruction.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula aligned with educational standards and individual student needs
- Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, respectful, and productive environment
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress reports, and lesson plans
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support student welfare and educational goals
- Ensure compliance with child welfare standards and safety protocols in all activities
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; preschool or daycare experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations including toddlers, preschoolers, and students requiring additional support such as early intervention programs
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of teaching physical education and integrating wellness activities into daily routines
- Ability to adapt teaching approaches based on individual student needs and learning styles
