Job Summary
Position Title: Radiographic Technician
Summary:* The primary function of the radiographic technician is to perform x-rays as directed by the chiropractic physician.*
Hourly Pay: $25-$28
Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Adjust and maintain imaging equipment.
- Position the patient and the equipment in order to get the correct image.
- Operate the computerized equipment to take the images.
- Obtains images for any areas requested by the physician.
- Protect the patient by shielding exposed areas that do not need to be imaged.
- Confirm female patients are not pregnant.
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- At least 1-3 years of clerical experience
- Bilingual
- ARRT and CRT certified
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Computer skills: Knowledge in operating a computer and electronic health records systems.
- Physical demands: Required to stand, walk, lift, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Verbal communication skills: Excellent understanding of the English and Spanish languages.
- Time-management skills: Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
