Duties
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
- Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments, preparing items for dispatch, and updating inventory records in systems like AS400 or MRP software
- Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks and ensuring timely delivery of goods
- Use basic math skills to count stock accurately, verify quantities, and process orders correctly
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse flow and meet daily productivity goals
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs safely (certification preferred)
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory software is a plus
- Strong attention to detail for order picking, packing, and inventory management
- Basic math skills for counting stock and processing orders accurately
- Ability to lift heavy items regularly and stand or walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork
