Cecil Support Services Corporation is looking for a dedicated DSP who will be responsible for supporting an individual with IDD by promoting independence, advocacy and support the person's life choice while facilitating opportunities for relationship building. This is an essential position with a key component to promote independence and personal growth.Responsibilities: Provide services and supports as outlined in the person-centered plan which includes taking the individual into the community to participate in activities of her choice, promote community inclusion, self-determination and sufficiency. Provide emotional support and maximum independence to the person. Operate own vehicle safely and provide transportation to the person served. Complete progress notes in a timely manner.Must have DDA trainings or ready to be trained. Provide Direct Support Professional coverage in other locations as needed.Staff must live closer to Perryville Maryland or nearby cities, this is to avoid tardiness.Shifts days and hours are as follows:Tuesday 9am to 2pm (5hrs)Wednesday 9am to 2pm (5hrs)Thursday 9am to 2pm (5hrs)Friday 9am to 2pm (5hrs)Staff may also be required to assist in other coverage as needed.
