We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our fulfillment and warehouse operations. This role is covering for someone on maternity leave - the job will last about 12 weeks, with the possibility of being hired on full-time after. The position is ideal for someone looking for work for the next few months.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process, package, and ship customer orders
- Receive, inspect, unload, and properly store incoming inventory
- Examine incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, or defects
- Organize warehouse space and maintain accurate inventory levels
- Verify and complete customer invoices and shipping documentation
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse on a daily basis
- Follow all company safety, hygiene, and operational procedures
- Suggest improvements to optimize warehouse workflows and efficiency
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.)
- Working knowledge of warehouse management or inventory systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
