What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Support/ Homemaker position at CE HCA?

As a caregiver with CE HCA, you will provide assistance and companionship to clients in their homes. Your role is vital in supporting daily living activities, promoting a safe and healthy environment, and enhancing the overall well being of each client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities.
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities
- Assist with planning and preparation according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or light outings (if applicable)
- Monitor and report changes in client’s physical or emotional condition to supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow plans
- Must pass background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required for position)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
