Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machinery, including CNC machines, flexo presses, and stamping presses. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety protocols.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses.
- Set up and adjust machine settings according to specifications.
- Set up, operate, and tend metal stamping machines and winding or coiling machines to produce coils for electrical components or other specified products.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and resolving issues with machinery and production processes.
- Continuously monitor machine operations, adjust settings for speed and tension, and ensure smooth, efficient production.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
- Load and prepare raw materials, ensuring they are suitable for the production process and placing them into the machines.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient production flow.
- Handle materials and equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLC) and CAM programming is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing tasks.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in quality control processes is beneficial.
